Orchard House is a nonprofit organization that serves elderly clients and their families. Our goal is to keep seniors living independently, in the community, for as long as possible. Clients receive medical monitoring, therapeutic and social services in a stimulating and friendly environment that promotes health and emotional well-being. Professional staff include certified nurses and certified nurse’s aides, a recreational therapist, licensed drivers, food service workers and highly qualified managers who are sensitive to the needs of clients with the full range of cognitive, emotional and social abilities.

For 30 years, our staff has offered personalized care plans to meet each client's social and nursing needs, including plans for clients with cardiac ailments, diabetes, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other dementia and neurological disorders. Counseling, education and respite services are also provided to families and other caregivers who have the responsibility for a loved one who needs assistance during the day, but does not require 24-hour institutional care. Each day includes fun and engaging activities and social opportunities suitable for each client’s personal needs and goals. We offer a nutritious hot lunch daily and free transportation
